I was really holding off on making a review because I got a refund from the service, but my hair is so damaged that I wanted to save somebody else from the same experience.
I wanted to express that the salon owner called me and was so nice about it and apologized for this unusual experience.
I wanted a partial balayage, however it was convinced by the stylist that a full balayage would be best to fit the info pictures side showed her.
I'm not sure what process she had in mind. However, my hair is naturally dark and within my hair session she had an extremely light blonde. I was trusting the process. Unfortunately, I should not have trusted the process and now my hair is fried. I regret getting my hair done at all because I lost my curl pattern.
When you go to the salon, be absolutely certain who you are seeing.
Ask to see their recent work, and how long they have been working.
The girl who did my hair was very nice, but she must have been inexperienced/new.

I have seen the same stylist for a few years. He’s great. I booked him for a blow out and 2 French braids, nothing fancy. He had 2 assistants blow dry and 1 braided. Blow out was poorly done and French braids started to come loose by the time I got in the car. Went back in and asked if braids could be done tighter. Hostess was rude, told me salon was closed and only 1 person does braids and she left. Offered no solution, no apology or anything beyond her mean face. Stylist was fine but not his work however salon charged me a high level stylist price. Cost me $118.

Rachel is a wonderful hairstylist. Besides being talented hair-wise, she immediately makes you feel at ease in her chair and talks to you like an old friend. I'm very pleased with the layered curl cut she gave me and would highly recommend her.

VaZa Salon is amazing! After moving out of the city it was so important to me to find a great salon that knows how to cut and color curly hair (everyone with curly hair understands the anxiety of going to a new salon not knowing what to expect). I was absolutely blown away when I walked into VaZa for the first time. The space is absolutely beautiful and the staff are so incredibly nice. Vanessa is an absolutely amazing stylist. She cuts and colors my hair to perfection and I will be a client for life. Vanessa is so extremely knowledgeable about curly hair and immediately put me at ease. Would recommend this salon to anyone!

I see Elvis and Val, both are absolutely Amazing and Skilled hair Stylist, they both are skilled in all types of hair from curly hair to hair like mine that is pin straight. I dye my hair all crazy colors, and enjoy fun styles. They uses top of the line hair products, treatments, and dyes, my hair is never damaged, thanks to them my hair is extremely healthy! I always come out look and feeling amazing!
