Dylan Keith located in Burbank, California is phenomenal! I’m visiting from New York City and I was looking for something different… my friend and I stumbled upon this hair salon and immediately were impressed. Mitra was exceptional and really put so much thought and care into styling my hair. One of the loveliest hairstylists you’ll ever meet. Super friendly and a great conversationalist. I’ll definitely be telling all my friends about this place when I’m back in the city and I hope to come visit again soon!! <3

I would give NO stars if that was an option. Stay away from Alyssa Seder their hairstylist and the Dylan Keith salon. She has no idea has to do highlights. This is not the only bad review of her either. I went to get my highlights touched up. I asked to go one shade lighter and my hair turned out a hell of a lot lighter than what I wanted. On top of that, she missed a huge chunk on the bottom left side of my hair to the point of not being able to put my hair up because it looked so bad. Never mind all the other sections that were missed and the fact that some of the spots turned orange. I called her and ended up having to go back the following two days, for her to try and fix it, but all she did was put more toner which didn't do much at all. This was right before my trip to the Netherlands, so I had no other time to do anything about it. I just returned yesterday (7-31-24) and texted her for a refund. She refused saying that it had been more than 30 days and there was no way she would give me a refund. I got my hair done on July 9th, and had to go back on the 10th and the 11th. so definitely not 30 days. I called and spoke to the owner who at first came across as a nice person. After meeting with her, she basically treated me like I was an idiot and told me that it turned out like that because my hair is a dark brown. She did not take responsibility for her stylist and the horrible job she did. She offered to add a few more highlights and made it sound like she was doing me a favor. In the meantime, Alyssa texted me back saying that she saw me two more times and didn't charge me for that time...well yeah...you were trying to fix your mistake, why would you charge me? then she actually laughed at my text back to her explaining that this is not good customer service and she said that the reason I want a refund is because I just came back from my trip and needed money. Seriously....never mind the fact that my hair is still messed up after I spent over $300. I would be asking for a refund if I spent $10 and it's about the principle, not the money. Never in my life have I been treated this badly. Alyssa is a rude, entitled, disrespectful, narcissistic, immature "child" who needs to grow up and learn how to treat people right. I don't know any of the other stylists there, so I can only speak about her and the owner. If you do decide to go there, all I can say is Good Luck!!

This salon customer service was excellent in booking me - great communication. I got my hair highlighted and cut by Jenny and she was great! She talked over options and was easy to chat with. My hair turned out beautiful- better than I expected!

Mitra did excellent work on highlighting my curls. I wanted my curls to look sun-kissed and to also have dimension. I will definitely return.

Hi! I went to this salon and had my hair colored and cut by Alyssa. It was a horrible experience. She gave me something I didn't ask for and then yelled at me when I came back in to get it fixed.

When I came in it was so late (I was caught in a protest) and I was soooo embarrassed. They were SO NICE about it. I was shocked. Alyssa was really understanding. We didn't have a lot of time to discuss what I wanted in depth, but I made it known that I don't get my hair done very often and I wanted something that wasn't high maintenance. So I asked for balayage. She said that "baby lights" would be better. I'm not a hair stylist so I didn't know what that meant, nor did she explain, but I trusted her and assumed she would give me similar to what I asked for. She finished and I hated it and it was highlights, which is NOT low up-keep at all? however, I felt so bad, since i was a late customer, I told her I liked it and left. But then realized how horrible it looked when I got home. I had zebra stripes and chunks of blonde on the underside of my hair. It had to be fixed. It was horrific.

I called the next morning and the lady on the phone was so understanding. I came in that next day and the front desk lady greeted me and she was again, so nice! Then Alyssa came up to the front. I explained to her that I thought there was miscommunication and I was so sorry but this wasn't what I wanted. She continued to raise her voice, argue with me, and scold me for at least 5 minutes. This was all in the lobby in front of people! The front desk lady was there the entire time listening to her treat a me like this. I was appalled! But, I needed my hair fixed, so I continued to be nice so she would just fix it. She finally, after arguing with me and making me so uncomfortable, saying things like "this is what you wanted, you said you liked it" over and over again, she did what (I guess) she could. I was so, SO embarrassed and she made me feel terrible, even though I already felt bad coming back in! I have never done anything like this before - but it was THAT BAD.

She "fixed" my hair and it still looked bad but good enough to just get the heck out of there and never come back ever again. Alyssa didn't even blow dry my entire head, only the front left section, which I thought was rude but kind of funny and not a huge deal. I wasn't surprised.

Overall - I think the salon is fine (minus them thinking it was okay for Alyssa to argue with me about my hair and watching her do this), but I would find somewhere better. Or just don't go to Alyssa. I'm not sure she is fully trained to do hair correctly. And I hate the way the front desk lady just let her yell at me like that. It was super awkward and she didn't seem like she thought it was a big deal.

Hate making reviews like this but it was $400 and I hated my hair. So, I felt I needed to share. Beware!

Roberto gave me an incredible Hollywood glam blowout during my visit from Maryland for the filming of Men Tell All – Golden Bachelorette. The entire staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming, even going the extra mile to help me find someone for makeup. Their attention to detail and outstanding service made the experience unforgettable! Highly recommend!
