I cannot say enough good things about how well Kylie handled my hair! I work in the area so I stopped by to see if she could give my long bob a little bit more character. Important info about me, I am a POC with curly textured hair who only wears my hair straightened. It was important to me that my hair could be cut and straightened to fit my everyday lifestyle. I went in initially thinking a dry cut would be best because my hair was already straightened and washing it might make it more difficult to manage but the amazing front desk staff let me know it would be best if they were able to cut it wet and style it dry so I can get the best results. I was a little worried because historically there are salons that don’t find the importance of dealing with different ethnic hair types. Kylie was not only educated on how to cut curly hair to be styled straight but also how to straighten my hair. This made me feel so seen! She was so kind and gave the greatest scalp massage during my shampoo. She also checked in with me at every step of the cut letting me know the realistic expectations of how short my hair would look at different lengths and really let me lead the way on how I wanted my hair to turn out!! Incredible first experience at this salon. Petri is Spanish speaking and she is so kind & professional. She met my expectations and understood what I was going for. I was looking for another stylist/salon closer to home and I’m so glad I have found this place. I will be rebooking with her for my new color and other hair treatments! Her base price is excellent and she’s so well informed on the products that work best for certain hair textures!

Absolutely love my new style! ? It had been quite some time since I’ve been to a salon (seriously, a LONG time) and this was such a wonderful and experience. The staff helped me feel welcome and relaxed, and Anita handled my cut and style. Several inches came off. I had a general idea of what style I wanted, and Anita was super patient and adjusted the cut as needed. I scheduled my next appointment before I left the salon, as my hair grows quite quickly! I cannot express my appreciation enough. Thank you Free Spirit and Anita!

Please do yourself a favor and make an appointment at Free Spirit - you won’t regret it! I just moved to the area and we all know finding a stylist is scary and a vulnerable place to be. I called Free Spirit after reading reviews and Shadi’s kindness and listening ear let me know right away this was going to be a great place. After listening to my needs she connected me with Jensen, an amazing, kind, highly talented stylist. It was a match made in heaven as she took my hair, worked her magic, and I left feeling gorgeous, with a healthy, beautiful style! I cannot recommend her enough! The salon itself is friendly, clean, and gorgeous! Everyone made me feel welcome and valued! Again, you will not regret making an appointment and I hope you come away feeling as amazing as I did! Can’t wait to see my stylist again soon!

Robbie did a very good job, she was attentive to what I wanted, took a photo of the picture I brought and was very careful about how much length she took off. I felt like she paid attention to her work and didn’t get distracted which I really appreciated. My hair was a great length and she also took a little extra off at my request at the end. Would recommend this salon to others. The interior was clean and well maintained, and everyone on staff was helping each other out.

It has never looked so wonderful. She was incredibly sweet and pleasant and yet very informative in teaching me what products to use to achieve this radiant result. Thank You Robbie! As long as you are there you have my business. I'll get my brother to come to you he has long hair too.

What an amazing experience I had this evening. As a male with long curly hair I am always apprehensive when getting it cut. Ms. Aubrey did and amazing job! She trimmed it just as I asked and went above and beyond between that and my beard and mustache trim. All the staff were so kind and polite. I was pleasantly surprised at the price, as I was expecting it to be more. I have found my new stylist and I will definitely be coming back.
